Choosing laws they want marks end of democracy

What a coincidence, another Remainer with the power to see into the future while ignoring the past, Andrew Bannerman’s talent has been rewarded by the chairmanship of Open Britain and from this lofty position makes the following profound statement: “Nobody knows what everyone who voted leave in 2016 wanted”.

I would have thought that it was patently obvious what we wanted – the question was ‘Do you want to stay or leave?’ we voted leave. We wanted the complete restoration of our national sovereignty, government made by laws made in Westminster, the absolute right to control our borders, the freedom to negotiate our trading arrangements with countries of our choice.

We wanted our armed forces deployed solely on our orders, the administration of justice according to the law of habeas corpus – the British justice system – we did not vote for re-negotiated terms!

2016 was a lawful referendum and the Leavers carried the day. Our politicians, peers, CBI etc have decided otherwise. They, and, it seems Open Britain, have decided to go European where they have always chosen which law they will accept and which they will mark the end of democracy in Britain.

What would the point be in voting ever again?
