A big thank you to hospital staff

My wife had to go in for major surgery recently which had complications and gave the whole of the family grave concerns for the outcome.

However, we need not have worried about this because he was under the care of Consultant Surgeon Miss B Sahu and in the world class Women and Children’s unit of the Princess Royal Hospital, Telford. The surgery took about 2.5 hours and in spite of the complication gave a textbook result.

The family wishes to send our thanks the surgical team, and all the nurses and support staff in the women and children’s unit who could not do enough for my wife and visitors who at times were not easy to deal with.

We are all certain that without the skills of the surgeon and her team, also the staff in the women and children’s unit the outcome would not have been as good.

This proves that the £28 million spent on building this unit was a very worthwhile investment. This also proves that we can attract world class surgeons like Miss Sahu to work in Telford hospitals to the benefit of the whole of Shropshire.
