Jeremy Corbyn and Theresa May seem like chalk and cheese in the political sphere, so a moment of shared levity between the pair has caused much speculation.

During the visit of Spanish King Felipe VI to Parliament, the Prime Minister appeared to crack a joke which tickled the Labour leader.

Inevitably, the sight raised one big question.

What on earth did May say?

Some took a stab at guessing, and one such attempt appeared to fit rather well…

However, others decided there was only one way to go with this joke – a reference to May’s self-proclaimed “naughtiest” moment.

Meanwhile, some thought the civility shown was reminiscent of family problems…

And others thought it was a sign that maybe all the verbal sparring at PMQs isn’t quite as harsh as it seems.

Finally some just liked the fact that when forced to sit next to each other, two humans can share a laugh despite their differences.
