People weren't convinced Theresa May was being asked the tough questions during her LBC interview
Unfortunately, a half-hour interview just didn’t feel like enough.
When Theresa May appeared on LBC, many felt it was an opportunity to see her answer some probing political questions. However, not everyone was satisfied with the half-hour interview with Nick Ferrari.
The first 10 minutes were dedicated to Ferrari asking the Prime Minister a bit more about herself. Yes, it was a rare glimpse into May’s personal life, but many people were disappointed with the lack of political questions.
In fact, the first question was about May not having any children – something many people were particularly displeased with.
Ferrari followed this up with questions about her faith, her parents, and even her signature dish. For many, these just weren’t the issues they wanted to hear May speak on.
On Twitter, some started coming up with suggested questions.
The show’s format was based on listener’s questions – so some people were pretty disappointed when there was only time for three questions before the interview was over.
However, not everyone was left wanting more at the end of the interview.
Now, many people are keen to see what kind of questions the other party leaders are asked when they appear on LBC Leaders Live in the coming weeks.
