Storm Christoph has brought severe conditions across Britain, with homes flooded amid heavy downpours, some areas blanketed in snow, and difficult travel conditions caused by ice.

Dozens of flood warnings are in place across England, and many people were told to evacuate their homes overnight as water levels rose.
