William and Harry to take part in charity polo day
The royal brothers will be at Billingbear Polo Club on July 10.
The Duke of Cambridge and the Duke of Sussex are to join forces by taking part in a charity polo day.
The royal brothers, who have faced reports of a rift, will play together at Billingbear Polo Club in Berkshire on Wednesday July 10.
William and Harry, both keen polo players, are taking part in the King Power Royal Charity Polo Day for the Khun Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha Memorial Polo Trophy.
Leicester City chairman Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, who was an avid polo supporter and president of Ham Polo Club for four years, was killed in a helicopter crash at the King Power football stadium in Leicester in October last year.
The charity match will help raise funds and awareness for more than 15 charities supported by the dukes including African conservation organisations, rugby charities and the Invictus Games Foundation.
In June, it was confirmed that Harry and the Duchess of Sussex are setting up their own charitable foundation after splitting from their joint charity with William and the Duchess of Cambridge.
It was seen as the final step in the division of the couples’ public duties, with Harry and Meghan breaking away from the Royal Foundation.
But the Foundation said the couples would continue to work together in the future, including on the Heads Together mental health campaign.
Kensington Palace said the charity match will help raise funds and awareness for charities supported by the dukes including African Parks, The English Schools Swimming Association, Fields in Trust, Henry van Straubenzee Memorial Fund, The Household Cavalry Operational Casualties Fund, The Invictus Games Foundation, Irish Guards Appeal, Map Action, Mountain Rescue England and Wales, The Queen’s Commonwealth Trust, Rhino Conservation Botswana, The Royal Marsden, RFU Injured Players Foundation, The Passage and the Welsh Rugby Charitable Trust.
