Artist and garden designer Dawn Aston has created a piece depicting a direwolf.
In the fantasy drama, partly filmed in Northern Ireland, Nymeria is one of six direwolf pups found by the children of House Stark.
The picture is one of four pieces of street art being installed in the Co Antrim town.
Mid and East Antrim Borough Council mayor Maureen Morrow said: “Not only are these new features stunning, but they bring the town to life by adding colour and something unique.
“We wanted to enhance the tourism and visitor potential of the area, encouraging people to stay longer and act as a catalyst for further town centre investment.
“This artwork, along with the recent public realm improvements, will become part of the town’s offering, attracting more locals and visitors alike to spend time here.”
Andy King, from the Larne Renovation Generation organisation, said the works of art are a fantastic addition to the town.
“Our ambition is to brighten up the town and to transform it into an open-air art gallery and museum.
“We want everyone who lives in Larne to feel proud to do so and we also hope that tourists will enjoy the colour and community spirit.”
As part of the council’s plan to revamp Larne, four local artists were commissioned to produce a unique piece of work related to its maritime and cultural heritage.
