The Duke and Duchess of Sussex married after a whirlwind romance and their adoration for one another is clear to see.

From hand-holding on engagements to lingering looks of love, the royal pair have not shied away from public displays of affection.

Here’s a look at Harry and Meghan’s top 10 most romantic moments over the past year:

1. Harry whispering in Meghan’s ear

In January, Harry and the former Suits star spent an away day in Cardiff.

2. Holding hands in Birmingham

While the royal family are often known for their reserve, Harry and Meghan have delivered their own take on joint appearances.

The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh, and even the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, usually separate on walkabouts, working different sections of the crowd.

But loved-up Harry and Meghan often stick together, holding hands as they meet the public.

3. A shared sense of fun

Harry and Meghan were pictured enjoying each other’s company when they attended a women’s empowerment reception during the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting.

4. The look of love

As they attended a memorial service in April commemorating 25 years since the death of teenager Stephen Lawrence, Meghan gazed adoringly up at her future husband.
