A Porsche crashed through a car park wall and on to a pedestrian subway below.
Essex Police said nobody was injured in Thursday’s incident in Colchester and inquiries are ongoing.
The Porsche 911 Targa 4S was left resting on its bonnet and almost vertical following the crash.
Officers were called to the scene where the car came to rest in Southway shortly after 6.15pm.
Anyone who witnessed the incident, or has dash cam footage of it, is asked to call 101 and ask for Pc Elizabeth Ferris at Stanway roads policing unit.
