The nerve agent latest, the gender pay gap and two teenagers dying on the streets of London lead many of the papers on Wednesday.

The Times leads with the frosty relationship between Britain and Russia in light of the Salisbury nerve agent attack – adding there are fears about the strength of the “international coalition” against Moscow after it could not be confirmed the substance came from Russia.

Gender is top of the agenda at the Daily Telegraph, with Prime Minister Theresa May saying figures about the pay gap make “uncomfortable reading”, adding the issue is a “burning injustice”.

The Guardian is one of many papers to feature the picture of Tanesha Melbourne – a 17-year-old shot dead in Tottenham – while the paper also covers the revelation from the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory that it could not verify the precise source of the nerve agent used in Salisbury.
