A UK ticket holder has come forward to claim a £25.4 million EuroMillions jackpot, Camelot has said.

The £25,476,778 win from the November 3 draw makes them the seventh EuroMillions jackpot winner on these shores this year, the National Lottery operator said.

A single ticket scooped the top prize and it still needs to be checked and validated.

Andy Carter, of the National Lottery, said: “Just one week after a £15 million winner we now have another UK ticket holder banking a giant EuroMillions jackpot. The £25 million winner is the seventh EuroMillions jackpot winner in the UK this year.

“By buying a ticket for this or any other National Lottery game, every player is helping to raise money for Good Causes.

“On average over £30 million is raised every week for projects across the UK, both big and small, from supporting community groups to funding the nation’s athletes.”

The ticket holder has not yet decided whether they want to go public about the win.
