Man charged with murder after 30-year-old stabbed to death

A 27-year-old man has been charged with the murder of a stabbing victim.

Staffordshire Police said a man aged 30 died after being stabbed in Sorrel, Tamworth, on Friday night.

The force said in a statement: “The 27-year-old man who has been in police custody since his arrest has now been charged with murder.

“Our thoughts are with the victim’s family at this time.”
