Visitors to Holkham Beach got an improvement on donkey rides when a mounted regiment came to visit.

The Household Cavalry’s mounted regiment has abandoned their usual London parade group for a more tropical training.

Each year the regiment’s troopers and horses visit Norfolk where they swim in the sea off Holkham Beach, and race along the sands.
