Today it's the turn of The Wrekin constituency.

Mark Pritchard

Mark Pritchard - Conservative

I have held The Wrekin seat since 2005. However, in fighting my fourth election, I take no vote for granted. These are uncertain times; not only with Brexit and the economic challenges Brexit brings, as well as its opportunities, but also in defence and national security challenges.

If elected again, I commit to continue to fight for the Princess Royal Hospital and to continue to campaign to retain key services in Telford. However, all these national and local issues need a strong economy. Britain also needs a strong leader to chart it through the many unchartered waters that lie ahead. Theresa May is that strong leader.

Dylan Harrison

Dylan Harrison - Labour

I am a local man who has made my life with my young family in Newport. If elected I will provide you with a strong local voice. I will work closely with local organisations to improve the area. Importantly, I will not undertake any other paid employment that would distract me. The main issue is that our hospitals are in crisis.

Tory cuts have placed SaTH in crisis and they are proposing to create a single A&E at Shrewsbury when both in the county are badly stretched and needed. Downgrading the PRH services will be a disaster for people in The Wrekin’s health as well as being negative socially and economically.

Denis Allen

Denis Allen - Ukip

Having served for many years on both Telford & Wrekin and Wellington Town councils I am aware of the problems we face and I am determined to tackle them. The running down of the Princess Royal Hospital must be reversed and I will fight for the Malling Centre as well as A&E to be retained in the Wrekin.

The cruel term “bed-blockers” would vanish if the Wrekin had a convalescent home and I will fight for one. Uncontrolled immigration is keeping wages down and using up valuable resources such as housing, education and health services. I will campaign for controlled, sustainable immigration.

Pat McCarthy

Pat McCarthy - Green Party

The electorate want MPs that have shown a real dedication to making things better. During 30 years of living here, I have been responsible for creating community sports days, environmental groups, community newspapers and a community orchard. For the last seven years I have sat on Wellington Town Council.

I believe there is a need for radical reform of Government. So if you care about creating world class education and health provision that is entirely free; if you are interested in saving the planet from climate chaos; and want never again go to war on a lie, then vote for the Green Party.

Fay Easton

Fay Easton - Independent

As an Independent I’m free of party politics. My energies will be invested in working for the people of this constituency. Over the past years our town centres have declined, food banks have trebled, youth unemployment is high and public spending in hospitals and schools is falling.

I will be a local champion working on local regeneration. I will be in the constituency every week working on saving key services at PRH; market town revival; helping independent businesses; lowering youth unemployment, backing our schools; investigating failings in public transport and broadband services and supporting a profitable Brexit.

Rod Keyes

Rod Keyes - Liberal Democrats

I’m known for my diligence, honesty, straight talking and swift, decisive action and I’ve no intention of becoming bogged down in bureaucratic stagnation. I’ve been involved in politics for more than 30 years and have seen how too many MPs become comfortable in their status.

I was a chartered insurer working for a top company for 36 years before taking early retirement. In these times of austerity and uncertainty over our relations with Europe it is important that we remember to put people first. My priorities will be education, health and social care. I will not have any outside jobs or consultancies.
