Come on, we can squeeze some more on. And squeeze was the operative word with this bus operated by Hailstone’s of Churchstoke, seen here in wartime Shrewsbury. The bus was built to the special width of 6ft 6ins to enable it to operate along narrow country roads. It is being held at the trust’s base at Abbey Foregate station and its adjoining car park in Shrewsbury on August 5 from 10am to 3pm.
