Further to the launch of the C3 and C4 Cactus Origins models, Citroen has added two new models to the special range to celebrate the brand’s 100th year.

The C1 and C3 Aircross Origins models follow a similar template to the models previously unveiled, and celebrate the manufacturer’s founding in 1919 by André Citroën.

Both models receive an exclusive black and white colour scheme. The C1 starts out with a non-metallic Lipizzan White, paired to a black roof and black alloy wheels. The interior features grey cloth seats, stitched gold detailing and exclusive ‘Origins’ floor mats.

Equipment is generous, as it’s based on top-spec ‘Flair’ trim. The dinky city car packs a reversing camera, climate control, automatic lights and a 7-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Meanwhile, the C3 Aircross is finished in Natural White with a black roof as standard. As with its C1 sibling, black alloy wheels also feature while inside, grey cloth seats with gold stitching match the smaller car.

The C3 Aircross is based on mid-spec Feel trim, but gets connected navigation, rear parking sensors, climate control, auto lights and wipers and Citroen’s own touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Both models can also be specified in grey or black paint finishes, and regardless of colour will feature bronze decal packs on the door mirrors and rear pillar.

A single drivetrain will be offered for each model. The C1 will be available exclusively with the 1.0-litre, 71bhp petrol engine with a five-speed manual gearbox, while the C3 Aircross utilises a 1.2-litre, 109bhp petrol engine with a six-speed manual gearbox. The price for the C1 will be from £13,830, while the C3 Aircross will set you back £19,355.

Both vehicles are available to order now.
