A Telford mother who was given a heart transplant is celebrating after overcoming the odds to achieve her black belt in kickboxing.

Francesca Savva, 31, from Wellington, was given the lifesaving gift due to complications after the birth of her daughter Avarose in 2014.

Francesca took up the sport on recovery – and on Sunday she attained her 1st dan belt.
