A crew at Telford's Central Station had to help a lady who had managed to get ring stuck on her finger, when she turned up asking for help at 10.46am yesterday.

Only a few hours before, at 5.15pm on Sunday another woman had visited Wellington Fire Station, also with a ring stuck on her finger.

In both cases officers from the fire service used mini cutters to remove the jewellery in less than 15 minutes.
