The event is on September 29 at Arleston Community Centre and will include artifacts from the period and before, as well as a speaker and refreshments.

Dave Barnett of the group said: "We would like to hear from people who have family memories from this era, if they would please help us by either bringing them in person, orally or written."

He invited people with memories or items who could not attend to send them in for display.

"The show will be opened by our friends Ross and Dot Vickers, supporters from the first ever show."

It runs from 11am to 4pm.

Anyone with written memories or anything they would like to exhibit can contact Dave on 01952 244922 or Angela McClements on 01952 380212.
