Dylan was a member of Wellington Boxing Academy where Richie is president.

Mo Fiaz, Dylan’s coach at the academy, said Dylan would be missed.

"He was a lovely lad and a very good boxer," he said.

"He had a promising career ahead of him. It is a great loss."
