Shropshire Council is running a consultation on proposals to create a 50mph speed limit along the A4169 and B4379 at Kemberton Junction until March 17.

The authority said the reduction from 60mph will "improve road safety at the junction for all road users".

It would come into place along the A4169, B4379, Hall Lane and Old Kemberton Road to Langley House.

Along the A4169, the 50mph limit would be from the county boundary with Telford & Wrekin eastwards and then northwards about 100m from Paddock Lane.

It would be implemented on the B4379 from its junctions with the A4169, to a point 45m south of that junction.

Along Hall Lane the limit would be in place from its junction with the B4379 to a point 27m to the east.

It would also be implemented along the entirety of Old Kemberton Road to Langley House.
