Woman admits beating up Newport man
A woman has admitted a charge of common assault against a Newport man.
Lianne Robinson, of King Edward Close in Wiltshire admitted assaulting the man in Newport on June 9 this year.
Appearing at Shrewsbury Crown Court on Friday, the 38-year-old was granted bail ahead of a sentence hearing on December 12.
Recorder Richard McConnaghy said he wished to adjourn for a pre-sentence report to be conducted on the defendant, who the court heard was of previous good character.
