Barclays Bank to close a second branch in Telford in less that a year
Barclays has revealed it is to close another of its banks in Telford.
A letter to customers says that the bank's Madeley branch will close on March 12.
The news comes in a year which has already seen the Barclays Oakengates branch close in April.
The letter says that the decision to close a branch is never an easy one.
"We remain committed to supporting you and the community," the letter says.
It says that Barclays still has branches and Wellington and Telford town centre.
