Pair receive care at the roadside after car hits tree in Telford

A car hit a tree in Telford in the early hours of Saturday.

Shropshire Fire and Rescue Crews were called to Kemberton Drive, in Madeley, at 1.24am.

Two fire engines were sent from Tweedale station with an operations officer also attending.

Also at the scene were an ambulance crew and officers from West Mercia Police.

No one was trapped in the vehicle.

Two people were cared for by ambulance staff while fire crews worked to ensure the car was safe.
