Medics treat people for minor injuries after Telford crash

Paramedics treated three people for minor injuries after a crash in Telford.

The two-car smash happened in The Parade, in Donnington, shortly before 10pm on Thursday.

Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service said a number of people were treated for minor injuries.

A spokesman said: "At 9.52pm we received a call reporting that a road traffic collision had taken place in Donnington.

"Three fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Central, Tweedale and Wellington. An operations officer was in attendance.

"Crews used small gear to deal with the incident.

"Also at the scene of the incident were the land ambulance service and the police. Crews have made vehicles safe."

A West Midlands Ambulance spokesman said: "We were called to reports of an RTC on The Parade in Donnington at 9.47pm. Two ambulances and a paramedic officer attended the scene. On arrival we discovered three patients, who following assessment were all able to be discharged at the scene.
