Council appeal to trace fly-tipper who dumped rubbish in Donnington

Telford & Wrekin Council is appealing to residents for help in tracing a fly-tipper who dumped rubbish, including a pair of boots, in Donnington.

The council tweeted its appeal to help trace the individual who dumped the rubbish in Ash-Lea Drive, in Donnington.

The tweet said: "We are investigating this fly-tip in Ash-Lea Drive, Donnington.

"Remember, if you see one, or have information on who's responsible, please report it."

Residents can report information in relation to fly-tipping by visiting telford.gov.uk

Last month, a resident was issued with a £400 fixed penalty notice after dumping wallpaper and carpet in Sutton Hill. The council revealed that the fine brought the number of fixed penalty notices issued for fly-tipping to 15 since last summer, when their enforcement officers were given additional powers to investigate environmental crime and issue fines.
