Woman taken to hospital after fire in Telford
A woman was taken to hospital after firefighters were called to a blaze involving clothing in Telford.
A crew was called to Hadley Vallens at just after 8pm on Monday.
The fire was out on arrival but a woman had suffered smoke inhalation and was taken to hospital for further assessment.
Jamie Arrowsmith, spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service, said: "We were called by the fire service to reports of a property fire on Hadley Vallens, Telford at 8.29pm.
"One ambulance attended the scene.
"On arrival we discovered one patient, a woman, who was treated for the effects of smoke inhalation and taken to Princess Royal Hospital for further assessment."
