The man, described as aged between 16 and 18 and dressed all in black, was rumbled after entering a house in Bridgnorth Road, Broseley. He pushed past the resident and escaped through the back door.

The incident happened at around 11am on Monday.

A police sniffer dog tracked the burglar's scent that led over the fields to the area of Park View. It is believed that was the route the suspect took during his escape.
