Wrockwardine Wood Parish Council has installed the sign in Moss Road, although it can be moved around as needed.

Residents in the area have said that speeding traffic is an issue they would like the parish council to tackle, and the council is working with the areas safer neighbourhood team to stop the issue.

PC Rob Hughes said: "This warning sign will inform motorists to stay within the 30 mph limit.

"A mobile speed gun is only effective while an officer is there using it, the speed sign will operate twenty four hours a day and has proved effective within the borough of Telford & Wrekin."

Moss Road was chosen for the first site because of a recent crash between and motorcycle and car.
