Opening bids in for Telford's Let's Go Quackers ducks

Opening bids for Telford's Let's Go Quackers ducks have reached more than £1,300.

Online offers ahead of the auction on September 3 have reached a total of £1,335 across the 10 giant ducks and seven miniatures.

The highest online bid will be the opening price on the night of the auction.

New T-shirts have also been launched with all proceeds going to charity.

The shirts are £10 each, white and have the Let's Go Quackers logo across the chest.

All orders need to be made and paid for by August 29. They will then be available to collect at the auction on September 3.

Delivery is also available for an extra £3 per shirt.

All profits will go towards the more than £10,000 already collected for charity thanks to the art trail.

Money will be split between Severn Hospice and the Jayne Sargent Foundation.

The auction will take place at Charlton School off Apley Avenue, in Wellington.

Viewing will be be from 5pm to 7pm and the bidding will start promptly at 7.30pm with auctioneer Nigel P. Davis.

The evening will feature a performance by the Telford and District Light Operatic Players.
