Man taken to hospital after being hit by falling tree in Telford

A man was taken to hospital with arm, head and pelvic injuries after being hit by a falling tree in Telford.

The air ambulance in The Rock. Doctors from the air ambulance travelled with the man to hospital.

The man in his 20s was taken by land ambulance to the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital after the incident in some woodland near The Rock, Telford.

It happened at about 1.30pm. An air ambulance from RAF Cosford and a paramedic was also in the area.

The man was said to be fully concious and alert. Doctors from the air ambulance travelled with him to hospital.
