Ben Miller and Pom Tutt from the gym

Membership consultant Ben Miller can be seen speaking in the video at Anytime Fitness Telford, in Lawley, while personal trainer Pom Tutt tries to get to grips with resistance bands in the background.

It was intended to be a light-hearted and funny video centering around the fitness bands which are proving popular.

Staff uploaded the video onto the gym’s Facebook page but it was then shared by Sport Bible and Unilad and has since had more than 27 million views.

Chris Clarke, manager of the gym, said: “Ben is talking in the video while Pom is in the background flying all over the place.

“People are using resistance bands in their training and we thought we would do a demo video.

'It just went mad'

“Instead of doing that they did this and posted it online.

“We do some funny videos that are quite popular on our own page. They normally get 100 to 200 ‘likes’.”

“This one got shared by Sport Bible and Unilad and it’s had millions of views. It just went mad.”

The gym, in Gresham Drive, has been running for nearly four years and has nearly 2,000 members.
