Boxing day sales bonanza
Thousands of shoppers took advantage of the Boxing Day bank holiday to bag some bargains in Telford.
Both Telford Town Centre and the Wrekin retail part were busy all day as good weather helped draw out the crowds.
While some stores, including Marks and Spencer, did not open, many were trading as normal and mangers said it was a busy day despite fears that Black Friday may have taking some of the spending power from people's purses.
The Primark store was packed with bargain hunters while staff in Clarks the shoe store said they were exceptionally busy.
Fashion wear sales seemed to be most popular.
Charlotte Hyde, a supervisor with the Designer clothing house, Diffusion, in Telford Town Centre, said: " We are extremely busy. People are enjoying the Bank Holiday sales."
