Telford man in court over £80,000 theft from woman

A businessman from Telford has appeared at crown court accused of stealing more than £80,000 from a woman he was responsible for looking after.

Kenneth Andrew Tranter, of Willetts Way, Dawley, admitted theft at a previous hearing.

He appeared yesterday at Shrewsbury Crown Court where the case was adjourned for sentencing on January 19.

Tranter was granted unconditional bail.
