Washing machines on fire at two Telford homes
Householders at two properties in Telford had to dial 999 after their washing machines caught fire.

Crews were called to a house in Muxton Lane, Muxton, shortly before 12.20pm yesterday.
They also went to a house, in Kingsland, Arleston, at about 1.25pm after reports that the washing machine’s motor was alight.
But when they arrived at both premises the flames were out.
Fire engines were deployed from Telford Central and Wellington fire stations to the scenes.
