Cannabis dealer comes 'within an ace' of going to jail
A 22-year-old found with nearly £700 worth of cannabis in his car in Ludlow has been spared jail.
Louis Davis-Jones, 22, of Kingsleane in Leominster, Herefordshire was told by a judge at Shrewsbury Crown Court that he came "within an ace" of being jailed when he appeared on Friday.
The court heard how Davis-Jones was pulled over in his car in Ludlow on March 6, 2021 as his driving was seen by police as "erratic".
Prosecutor, Timothy Sapwell told the court that officers smelled cannabis when they spoke to Davis-Jones and searched his car.
