One emergency crew was scrambled from Ludlow Fire Station to Lower Fee at 5.38pm on Friday.
When they arrived on the scene they found a fire involving the dashboard of a saloon car.
They used one hose reel jet, a forcible entry tool and small tools used to reach and extinguish the fire.
Shropshire Fire & Rescue Service's incident stop message was received by control at 6.15pm.
