Toast to the haggis and raise funds for charity
Burns night, with a difference, will be celebrated with a fundraising event organised by the Ludlow Constituency Liberal Democrats.
The group hosting an on line Burns Night Quiz on January 25.
The quiz will start at 7.30 and virtual teams of up to five are invited to register by emailing ruthmhoughton55@gmail.com for the zoom link and joining instructions.
Proceeds from the evening will be shared equally between the Liberal Democrats and the chosen charity of the winning team.
Viv Parry, Shropshire Councillor for Ludlow South said “Over the years I have attended many Burns Night Suppers, why should this year be any different? Join us on Zoom with a haggis and a glass of whisky or something hot to answer interesting questions in our quiz. Ask your friends to join us to raise a toast to the Haggis."
