The crash took place at around 8.20am on Monday on the B4368 at Clunton.

South Shropshire Police said the ambulance service was dealing with two casualties - both drivers - but neither required hospital treatment.

Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service has also attended and said they had initially been called to an incident where people were suspected as trapped in a vehicle, but on arrival none of those involved were stuck in vehicles.

Three crews attended from Bishops Castle, Clun and Craven Arms.

Police, who are also at the scene, warned that the road is blocked in both directions and to avoid the area.

A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called to reports of an road traffic collision off Marshgate in Clunton, Craven Arms, at 8.14am.

One ambulance was sent to the scene where, on arrival, crews discovered two cars had been involved in a collision and that there were two patients: a man and a woman. They were treated for minor injuries but did not require hospital treatment and both were discharged at the scene."
