Van's fuel tank ruptures after crashing into hedge near Craven Arms

A van crashed into a hedge near Craven Arms, rupturing the fuel tank.

The collision happened in Marlow at around 9.20am on Wednesday.

A Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a road traffic collision had taken place in Craven Arms. Incident involved van in to hedgerow, ruptured fuel tank, crews used environmental grab pack.

"One fire appliance was mobilised from Craven Arms."

West Midlands Ambulance Service has been contacted for an update.
