Car crashes into field and overturns

Emergency services were called to a car that crashed into a field and overturned today.

The car veered off the road before rolling in a field off the B4194 in Kinlet, near Cleobury Mortimer, at about 11am.

Shropshire Fire and Rescue sent four appliances from Bridgnorth, Cleobury Mortimer and Wellington to reports of a possible person still trapped in the car.

Fire crews found the car empty on arrival and righted the car for environmental reasons before leaving the scene within 20 minutes.

West Mercia Police were also in attendance.

West Midlands ambulance service were called to attend by police but were advised medical assistance was not needed before arriving.
