Two elderly people injured in Cleobury Mortimer crash

A man in his 70s has been taken to hospital after a crash in Cleobury Mortimer.

Emergency services were called to the scene in Lower Inhedge, just before 2pm.

Ambulance crews administered first aidat the scene.

Claire Brown, spokeswoman for West Midlands Ambulance Service, said: "We were called just before 2pm by an off duty police officer in Lower Inhedge, Cleobury Mortimer, to a two-car road traffic collision.

"We sent two ambulances to the scene to treat two elderly people, one from each car.

"We took one patient, a man in his 70s, to Worcester Royal Hospital as a precaution."
