Firefighters tackle grass blaze in south Shropshire

Firefighters tackled a blaze involving 700 square metres of gorse, grass and undergrowth in south Shropshire.

Three crews were called to The Caradoc, Church Stretton, at 4.38pm today.

Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service said there were 20 separate seats of fire.

Crews used beaters, a hose reel jet and knapsacks to extinguish the flames.
