A Shropshire puppy is heading for a new life by the seaside, thanks to a photo that appeared in the Shropshire Star.

The cute picture of eight sheepdog pups was taken by wildlife photographer Andrew Fusek Peters who couldnt resist the sight he saw at Kinnerton Hall Farm near Ratlinghope.

After the photo appeared in the Star it was picked up by other media including London's Metro paper.

And it was when sitting on the Tube in the capital that Tim Millar saw it.

Tim, from Plymouth, who works in London for in the week, knew at once that he had found a replacement for he and his wife's own border collie who recently died.

After many false starts he finally tracked down the owners, Phil and Sue Wood of Kinnerton Hall Farm.

This weekend Tim was making the 400 mile round trip from London, to Shropshire then home to Plymouth, to collect one of the girl pups.

"We chose the one on the very right of the photo, slightly hiding away. The owners say she is definitely the most intelligent," he said.

"She will be able to enjoy lots of walks on the beach and of course on the moors."
