Shropshire villagers' outrage over plans for housing on former community field
The fire service had to clean the roads in a Shropshire village last night after a two car collision saw the tarmac covered in engine fluids.
The incident happened in Lyth Hill Road, Bayston Hill at around 6.30pm.
Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service said one fire engine was despatched from nearby Shrewsbury Fire Station.
There were no reports of injuries but fire crews had to make the vehicles electrically safe before clearing fluids from the roadway.
