Teacher rescued from loo at Shrewsbury school after lock breaks

Firefighters were called to a school to free a teacher locked in the bathroom.

A fire crew from Shrewsbury was scrambled to Wilfred Owen Primary School, in the Monkmoor area of the town, just before 2pm on Wednesday.

When they arrived they found one adult locked in a bathroom. A lock had become broken on the door and the teacher became stuck.

Fire crews released successfully released the member of staff.
