Fire crews rescue man stuck 40ft up in cherry picker at Shrewsbury Town football ground

A man had to be rescued from a cherry picker after getting stuck 40 feet in the air at Shrewsbury Town 's ground.

The man was stuck at the Montgomery Waters Meadow ground in Oteley Road soon after noon on Sunday, and firefighters were called to help.

Crews from Shrewsbury and Wellington attended and rescued the man using an aerial ladder platform.
