Anti-social behaviour powers given to police in Shrewsbury

Police are cracking down on anti-social behaviour in Shrewsbury town centre over the Christmas period.

A section 34 order has been put in place in the area, giving officers the power to move on those causing trouble.

The order was put into place after repeat calls regarding anti-social behaviour.

One man was made to leave the town centre for 48 hours because of anti-social behaviour.

He was searched and found to be in possession of controlled drugs.
