One person cut from car after crash in Shrewsbury

A person was trapped in a car after two vehicles collided on a road in Shrewsbury.

Two fire engines and an ambulance were called to the Kennedy Road junction with Roman Road at 10.35am yesterday (FRI).

Fire service personnel cut the person free from one of the vehicles using cutting equipment and two people were taken to the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital by ambulance for treatment.
