Appeal to find driver after man, 100, hit by car in Shrewsbury

A 100-year-old man needed hospital treatment after being hit by a car in Shrewsbury.

Police are appealing for information after the man was injured on a petrol station forecourt at about 11am on Monday.

The driver and passenger stopped the car at The Mount Service Station and helped the elderly man to his feet before driving off.

He was taken to Royal Shrewsbury Hospital with cuts to his arm and was discharged later that day.

West Mercia Police want to trace the passenger and driver of the Vauxhall Corsa involved in the collision, and are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
